FAQ at Get Me Loaded

If you are a transport operator, freight forwarders, loading agent or have freight to move you can list your equipment requirements in advance so you can arrange contactors to move you freight” also ”just follow the icons for all you need to know about freight
1. How do I join
It’s SO SIMPLE. At the Home Page click on the “Join Get Me Loaded” tab.  You will then be taken to the joining page and you simply complete the information that is required. You can join as a “Loader” or a “Trucker”. A Loader is someone who has freight to move and a “Trucker” is someone who has equipment to move freight. You can be a one-man operation or a multi national corporation; ALL are welcome.  Get Me Loaded can be great tools for Loading Agents who represent businesses that have freight to move and businesses (1 truck to 100 trucks) that have equipment that need a Load. Loading Agents are protected because it is THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION that appears.

Get me Loaded is a get Tool for Transport Company Operations Managers as well because as they manage their Trucks and their Loads around the country they can list their availability and requirements on line for more efficient management of their equipment and the movement of their freight.

2. Can I choose my own name and password
Yes, provided someone has not already taken the user name and password, you can have it.  If our web administrator thinks that your users name or password is inappropriate you will be contacted and a new user name or password allocated for you.

3. How do I get an email address
SO SIMPLE.
At the Home Page just click on the link that says “get your free email address” and fill in your preferred name and password.  This means your preferred “name” will be used to give you an address like name@getmeloaded.net.au. The Web Master at GML will then register your prefrred name and password and you will be contacted by return email. Most people that have Get Me Loaded email addresses are also members so if you want an email address it is a good idea to join Get Me Loaded as well. That way we can contact you if there are any problems with your email account and more importantly, let you know about any special offers that are available for GML members.

4. If I have an email address with Get me Loaded, how do I get my emails
You can log in using any computer that is connected to the Internet; anywhere in the World!

Once you have your user name and password confirmed by the GML Web Master, simply go to the Get Me Loaded Website, click on the button near the bottom of the page that says ”Webmail” and then enter your name and password. Within seconds you will have access to your personal email account. You can read emails received, send emails, forward emails received to other users; from any computer with Internet access anywhere.

5. Can I join as a Loader and a Trucker
Yes! You can join as either and Trucker or a Loader or both. Also, you can join as one and then, come back and link the other identity to the identity that you already have. This is a great idea for any transport Operations Manager. They have Trucks to manage and load around the country so they need to line up loads for them but they also have freight to move so if they don’t have enough trucks, they can list their freight to get extra contractors to move their freight.

Loading Agent also can join as Truckers and Loaders because they are always looking for loads and looking for trucks.

6. What does it cost
Nothing! Zip! Zero! Zilch! Free!

7. How do I list my truck is available for a load
Once you have joined as a Trucker, you can then log in at any time by going to the log in screen on the Home Page. At the log in screen, enter your user name and password and click on “submit” and then you have accessed the Get Me Loaded database.

Then click on “Post my Truck” and you have the Posting / Listing screen available to you.

Simply enter the relevant information.
(a) Where you want to start your next trip
(b) Where you want to go
(c) Use the drop down menus to select the type of equipment you have, whether you want a full load or a part and you can also enter the number of pallet spaces you have available
(d) under that you can click on your equipment attributes and also enter the weight you can carry; the minimum amount you want to be paid and also click on whether you do Express Freight,
(e) Under that you enter the date you are available and the time of the day you are on hand.

Your truck will expire at midnight of the morning after you enter your availability so if you don’t get a load you will need to enter the truck availability again the next day.

8. How do I list my load is available.
Once you have joined as a Loader, you can then log in at any time by going to the log in screen on the Home Page. At the log in screen, enter your user name and password click on “submit” and then you have accessed the Get Me Loaded database.

Then click on “Post my Load” and you have the Posting / Listing screen available to you.
Simply enter the relevant information:
(a) Where your load is available
(b) Where the load has to go
(c) Use the drop down menus to select the type of equipment you need, whether you want a full truck or a part truck and you can also enter the number of pallet spaces you require to be available
(d) Under that you can click on the equipment attributes you must have and also enter the weight you need to transport and click whether you need it done as Express Freight,
(e) Under that you enter the date the load is available and the time of the day you want to load.

Your load will expire at midnight of the morning after you enter the load availability so if you don’t get a truck you will need to enter the load again the next day.

9. How to I search for a load for my truck
Once you have logged in as a Trucker by using your user name and password; click on “Search for Loads” on the Home Page and then enter the details for your search.

Start by entering where you want to start your trip. You can enter the state only and search all the loads available in the State or you can refine your search by selecting a Town or City where you want to start your trip.

You can search all the loads that are available in the State or in the Town / City or you can refine your search further by selecting the State you want to go to; or refine it even further by selecting a Town or City you want to go to. 

You can search at any time by State or by limiting the destinations that are listed to a town or city. 

However you must select state first and then the Town / City if required. 

In addition to this you can refine your search by selecting equipment types and even equipment attributes. To recap!

You can search by a commencing State or a commencing Town / City and leave the destination open to show all loads listed from that state or from that town. You can refine that search by selecting destinations and / or different equipment types to search the loads that are available.

10. How do I search for a truck to move my load
Once you have logged in as a Loader by using your user name and password; click on “Search for Trucks” on the Home Page and then enter the details for your search.

Start by entering where your load is available for loading.

You can search this to see all the equipment that is available in the State or in the Town / City.

You can refine your search by selecting the destination to see what trucks want to go to where you require the load delivered. It might be that a Trucker wants to go to a destination that is close to where you want you load delivered so it is often worthwhile to broaden your search. 

In addition to this you can refine your search further by selecting equipment types and equipment attributes you need or that you might like if they are available.

11. Do I have to list a minimum price I will charge or pay
No but it is recommended. That way before you are contacted about your load or truck, everyone knows what you are paying or what you are prepared to accept. Of course there is no reason you can’t contact the Loader or Trucker to negotiate.

12. How do I check or change my account information
Any time you are logged in with your user name and password, simply click on the “My Account” tab and this will take you to a page where all your account details are listed. If anything requires changing simply update the information and then click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

13. How accurate is the information on the web site
Get Me Loaded can no guarantee the accuracy of the information that is listed on this web site.  This is an open website provided for the benefit of transport industry users and will only ever be as good as the information that is entered. If a user deliberately lists false information their membership privileges with be suspended.

14. What kind of web browser do I need
Get Me Loaded will work on Internet Explorer or Fire Fox. Other browsers have not been tested

15. Can I make Get Me Loaded my Home Page
Yes! Simply click on the link on the Home Page “Make Get Me Loaded my Home Page” and then GML will automatically open each time you open your web browser.

16. Does GML take suggestions from its users
YES PLEASE!  All suggestions are welcomed. Please just click on the “Contact Us: button on the Home Page. Enter your name, email address and then out your suggestion in the Comments box.

17. What is the Tools and Resource tab for
